Everything you need to know about this FL Studio ZGameEditor Visualizer template

The Thriller template is designed to keep the process simple. You don’t need to learn video editing or understand complex settings to use it. Just load the template and adjust a few controls, and you’re ready to render. Below you’ll find the key details, requirements, and answers to common questions.

What is this template and who is it for?

This is a zGameEditor Visualizer template for FL Studio, that helps music producers easily create videos for their beats. If you’re running a YouTube type-beat channel and want your visuals to match current industry standards, this template is built exactly for that use case.

What’s included in this FL Studio zGameEditor Visualizer template?

You’ll receive a ready-to-use FL Studio project file (.flp), required media folders, fonts, and a step-by-step video tutorial explaining how everything works. The footage shown in the preview is for demonstration purposes only and is not included.

Is there a vertical version of this template?

No. This template is available only in horizontal format and is made specifically for YouTube type-beat channels. Vertical formats like Reels or TikTok aren’t a good fit for type-beat content in general — they don’t function as proper listening environments, and most viewers won’t engage with full beats there.

What are the technical requirements?

FL Studio 20.9 or newer (any edition). Works on both Windows and Mac. The template runs entirely inside zGameEditor Visualizer, which is a standard plugin included with FL Studio — no third-party plugins required. The Lite version of the template is also included for better compatibility and smoother performance, especially in older FL Studio versions.

I’ve never created videos using FL Studio before. Is it actually easy?

Yes. If you already use FL Studio to produce music, you’ll feel right at home. The visual side is controlled through a simple Control Panel I built for this template, where you can change fonts, colors, frame sizes, etc. You don’t need motion design skills or advanced technical knowledge to use this template.

What can I customize in this template?

Pretty much everything. The template includes multiple frame options (1:1 square, 4:3, 3:2, and 2.39:1), customizable overlays (such as film grain, light leaks, and color filters), and an easily editable title screen. On the title screen, you can modify the text, including the font of the track title, as well as the color. There’s also a configurable call-to-action screen with an animated button. You can place titles and the CTA screen anywhere in the timeline and reuse them as many times as you want because the video structure is flexible.

Where can I get footage for my type-beat visuals?

The footages used in the demo was taken from YouTube, right from official artist channels. Using short clips or brief fragments for visual background is a common practice on type-beat YouTube channels and generally falls under fair use when done reasonably. Avoid using full music videos or long uninterrupted sections, and you’ll be fine — this is how most producer channels work today.
